Hakuna Matata is a phrase from the Swahili language from East
Africa. It means “no trouble”, “no worries”, and “take it easy”. Literally,
hakuna is “there is no / there are no” and matata is “worries”. The 1994 Walt Disney Animation Studios animated film The
Lion King brought the phrase to Western
prominence in one of its most popular songs, in which it is translated as "no worries".
Why is
Hakuna matata wall art so important in people’s lives. It is because of the
lessons the two words convey. This form of art is available in various forms,
from wall art to posters to ink illustrations. If you see a whole range of Hakuna Matata wall art, there
is not much to distinguish between them. What is important is the two words
staring back at you from the walls, a constant reminder that life has to be
taken easy, there are no troubles, no worries, and that every problem shall
pass one day.
Hakuna Matata wall art does not have any frills, nor complex forms. It
is simple with the words holding center stage within the frame. Generally, Hakuna Matata wall art has a
lighter background with the words in deep black to highlight them better. Or
you can prefer the words in white or a light hue on a dark background.
Additionally, you can choose to have just the words in the
frame or have “no worries no troubles” painted below the words. What ultimately
matters is that Hakuna Matata should be right in front of you, calming you down
and constantly reminding you that the world is such a peaceful place to live
in.
